Are you seeking a compliance officer role that enables you to work in a fast paced, innovative company where your input makes a real difference?

You will be given the opportunity to work within a progressive and flexible organization characterized by innovation. Nordnet’s compliance team currently consists of ten employees, of which eight are located at the headquarters in Stockholm, one in Copenhagen and one in Oslo. Since our business in Finland is growing, we would like to expand the compliance team with the addition of a compliance officer based locally in Helsinki.

Your role

Nordnet’s compliance team works with a Nordic perspective and serves all companies within the group. You will be given the opportunity to work within a broad regulatory area covering bank, insurance and securities markets related rules and regulations, with a specific focus on the Finnish insurance and banking area. You will have an important role in ensuring compliance throughout Nordnet’s business, particularly in the Finnish branches, as well as in developing the compliance department together with the rest of the team.

Your main tasks will include:

• Monitoring and reviewing of Nordnet’s compliance with internal as well as external requirements.
• Providing advice and support to relevant functions in the business.
• Performing control activities according to the compliance function’s annual work plan.
• Providing training on various compliance related topics to Nordnet’s employees.
• Monitoring of the regulatory development in areas affecting Nordnet’s business.

You will work closely with the business as well as the rest of the compliance team.

This is you

You are probably already working in a compliance officer role today, as a consultant within the compliance field, or at the supervisory authority with focus on insurance and/or banking related rules and regulations.

You are pragmatic, yet analytical, structured and enjoy working close to the business in a supportive role. You possess a high degree of integrity as this is key for the compliance role. You enjoy working independently as well as together with colleagues within different parts of the business.

You communicate easily in Finnish and English and have at least a basic knowledge in Swedish.
